Cremation Services

The cremation of a loved one can not only be cost-effective but also allow you to take your loved one with you wherever you go.
It may also be a religious or cultural requirement for some.

Some things to consider when planning a cremation may include things such as venues, minister or celebrant, flowers,
coffin, hearse, music, tribute videos, live streaming, butterfly or pigeon releases and the list goes on.

No Viewing

In some circumstances, the family may request that the coffin/casket remain closed, meaning there may not be a viewing at all.
In other instances, the body not being found for some time, may require the coffin to be hermetically sealed.

It is always handy to have the deceased’s passport, birth certificate or any other form of identification as a way to verify the information recorded on the necessary documents.
A consultation with us is approximately 40-60 minutes, depending on the needs of the family.
We also understand that decisions can change. This is normal and happens frequently.
The most important thing to us is that you feel comfortable with the decisions made and are happy with the final farewell.

Full Service Cremation

Full-service cremations are more comprehensive than no-service cremation and usually include a family-attended funeral service either at the crematorium, our chapel in Springwood or some other venue prior to the cremation.

Full-service cremations can include:

Transfer from place of death into our care
Hygienic preparation and embalming of the body if required
Dressing, viewing, grooming and makeup options
Family and/or Funeral service
Service details: Including but not limited to, songs, prayers, readings, eulogy and cultural requirements etc.
Location of service and final resting place of ashes
Wake details
Returned Services League involvement
Legal documentation
- This includes the Death Certificate registration and cremation forms.
Finances
- We have the ability to take pre-payment to lock the cost of a funeral in at an agreed price with a range of payment options including third-party finance
Other things to consider
- Urn options, Flower arrangements, Visitors books, Catering, Music, Audio-visual and Live streaming requirements, Program/Service Sheet development and print, Powerpoint/tribute video presentations, Nameplates

I live in Bundaberg, and I had both my parents come stay with me. My mum passed away and I was heart-broken. I knew I had to get mum back to Brisbane, but didn't know how. I jumped on google and went with the first funeral director that came up. Worst decision I ever made. Luckily, a family friend recommended Heaven funerals. And my entire family felt at ease.
